Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal is gearing up for a critical gathering, summoning senior party members and all Delhi party MLAs on Sunday.
The objective is to delineate the party’s roadmap for the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections in the national capital.
The rendezvous is scheduled to take place at Kejriwal’s Civil Lines residence.
In what insiders are billing as a "pivotal meeting," discussions will revolve around the imminent Lok Sabha polls in Delhi, slated for the sixth phase on May 25.
Delhi is witnessing a seat-sharing agreement, with AAP contesting four seats and its ally, the Congress party, taking on three.
Kejriwal, who secured interim bail till June 1 from the Supreme Court on Friday concerning a money laundering case linked to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam, faces the prospect of returning to Tihar jail on June 2.
In recent pronouncements, Kejriwal expressed confidence in the Opposition coalition's prospects, asserting that the BJP won't ascend to power this time.

The AAP leader kicked off his electoral campaign with a roadshow alongside Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, traversing through South Delhi and East Delhi constituencies.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set on a campaign spree in West Bengal, with scheduled rallies in Barrackpore, Panchla, Chinsurah, and Pursura. Later, he will proceed to Patna for a roadshow, amplifying BJP's electoral presence in Bihar.
