Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address an election rally in Kotputli, Rajasthan, on Tuesday, in support of the Bharatiya Janata Party's candidate from the Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha seat, Rao Rajendra Singh.
A spokesperson for the BJP confirmed that PM Modi will deliver a speech at a public meeting in Kotputli. The event will take place at Molahera village, in front of the Eklavya Dental Medical College, with the Prime Minister's arrival expected at 1:50 pm on Tuesday.
This marks Modi's inaugural campaign event for the Lok Sabha elections in Rajasthan following the announcement of the poll schedule.
Rajasthan is set to conduct its Lok Sabha elections in two phases, with the first phase slated for April 19 and the second for April 26. In the initial phase, voting will occur for 12 seats including Ganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur, Alwar Bharatpur, Karauli-Dholpur, Dausa, and Nagaur.
The subsequent phase will see voting for 13 seats, encompassing Tonk-Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, Barmer, Jalore, Udaipur, Banswara, Chittorgarh, Rajsamand, Bhilwara, Kota, and Jhalawar-Baran.
