Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to address a significant rally in support of BJP candidate Satish Gautam, vying for a third consecutive victory as Member of Parliament from the Aligarh constituency.

With the Lok Sabha elections' second and third phases looming, the Braj region anticipates a flurry of political engagements, including the Prime Minister's anticipated visit.

Scheduled to arrive in Aligarh on Monday, Prime Minister Modi will make his presence felt at the Numaish Ground, situated in the heart of the city, to connect with the electorate and bolster support for the BJP's electoral contender.

The political spotlight then shifts to Agra on April 25, where Prime Minister Modi is set to address the public.

In preparation for his visit, a symbolic 'bhoomi pujan' ceremony was conducted at the Kothi Meena Bazar Ground, the designated venue for the Prime Minister's rally in Agra.

Attending the 'bhoomi pujan' event were incumbent MPs from the region, including Prof SP Singh Baghel of the reserved Agra seat and Raj Kumar Chahar from Fatehpur Sikri.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also slated to address a public gathering in Kirawali town of Agra district, lending his support to Raj Kumar Chahar, the party's candidate for the constituency.

The impending visit of Prime Minister Modi holds significant weight, drawing parallels to his earlier engagement in the district during the 2022 assembly elections.

The electorate awaits the Prime Minister's message and vision for the future, as voting for the Lok Sabha elections in the Aligarh parliamentary seat is due for April 26.

According to the schedule, Prime Minister Modi is expected to arrive in Aligarh at 2 PM today.
