The BJP-NDA combine is leading 2-0 after the voting for the first two phases of the Lok Sabha polls was over, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi in an attempt to take jibe at the Opposition block.
“Football is very popular among the local youth in Kolhapur. If I use the football terminology, then after the completion of the second phase, BJP-NDA is leading 2-0,” PM Modi said at an election rally in the city.
PM Modi said that the INDIA bloc is known to drive two “self-goals”, of “anti-nationalism” and “politics of hatred”.
The Prime Minister did not fall hesitate to allege that the INDIA bloc members knows ho to resort to the practice of anti-national and appeasement politics.
He called it a fake Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray faction), who is “supporting DMK people”, who disrespected Sanatana dharma.
Advancing his criticism of the INDIA bloc-Maha Vikas Aghadi further, PM Modi stated that the alliance is so obsessed with vote-bank politics that they have allied with followers of Aurangzeb, the 17th-century Mughal emperor.
PM Modi also lashed out at the Opposition parties for promising to revoke the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) if voted to power.
The Prime Minister also lambasted the opposition parties for refusing to attend the Ram Mandir consecration ceremony on January 22 this year, despite several invitations.
In the latest attack on the ‘wealth redistribution’ clause in the Congress poll manifesto, Prime Minister Modi reiterated “The party that has always disrespected Babasaheb, (Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar) are now planning to rob the Dalits and the deprived of their reservation.”
PM Modi went on to add that the INDIA bloc-MVA have only one agenda, that is, to earn money.
Regarding his government’s initiatives, PM Modi reminded the gathering at a rally that the Centre had established a separate Ministry of Cooperation and initiated a movement for the empowerment of women through Self-Help Groups.
