Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address an election rally at Pushkar in Rajasthan's Ajmer district on April 6, announced the state BJP on Wednesday.
According to Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, the election in-charge for Rajasthan, a significant turnout of BJP workers from neighboring Lok Sabha constituencies such as Ajmer, Nagaur, Bhilwara, and Rajsamand is expected at the Prime Minister's rally. Sahasrabuddhe made the statement while attending a core committee meeting of the party in Nagaur.
State BJP Vice President Narayan Panchariya informed that while BJP workers will commemorate the party's Foundation Day, which falls on April 6, at every booth, PM Modi will headline an election rally in Pushkar.
Simultaneously, on the same day, Congress stalwarts, including Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, and Rahul Gandhi, are scheduled to be in Jaipur for a major rally of the party.
