The Chief of Army Staff/Indian Army Chief, General Upendra Dwivedi, visited the Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa headquarters in Mumbai on Monday, reviewing the operational logistics, training architecture and administrative preparedness of the forces.
The Army Chief also awarded commendations to four service personnel.
“The formation’s readiness in ensuring robust rear area security, integrated logistics, and seamless Military-Civil fusion to sustain operations in evolving scenarios was highlighted,” read the official ‘X’ handle of the Indian Army.
“COAS awarded on-the-spot commendations to four service personnel and praised all ranks for their professionalism and commitment, underscoring the importance of cohesive command and strong support systems in sustaining operational excellence and troop welfare,” the post added.
