<div>Reports indicate that India is expected to receive the delivery of the fourth S-400 long-range air defence squadron from Russia by May this year. Moscow has confirmed the delivery, with the final fifth batch to arrive in 2027.</div>

<div>The delivery is set to coincide with the anniversary month of &lsquo;Operation Sindoor&rsquo;, during which the S-400 system helped India prevail in the four-day military conflict with Pakistan. It downed Pakistani missiles during the May conflict.&nbsp;</div>

<div>S-400 demonstrated India&rsquo;s air-defence system strength during the operation and countered incoming aerial threats. It is one of the world&rsquo;s most advanced air defense systems, capable of tracking and destroying aircraft, drones, and ballistic missiles up to 400 km away.</div>
