Arunachal Pradesh is set to form a committee to draft a new industrial policy aimed at attracting investments to the state, Industries Minister Nyato Dukam announced on Tuesday.
The announcement was made during a review meeting with senior officers from multiple departments, including Industries, IPR and Printing, Trade and Commerce, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Labour and Employment, Textile and Handicrafts, and Sericulture.
Minister Dukam emphasized that inputs from stakeholders will be sought to ensure the new policy fully realizes the state's industrial potential while maintaining investor-friendly measures.
He highlighted the importance of robust coordination among departments to explore and capitalize on opportunities that will enhance the dynamism and success of these sectors.
During the meeting, officials from each department presented various challenges, opportunities, and strategies for moving forward. These presentations aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the current industrial landscape and the steps needed to boost growth and investment in Arunachal Pradesh.
"We are committed to creating an environment that encourages investment and industrial growth," said Dukam. "This new policy will be a crucial step in realizing the state's potential and providing opportunities for economic development."
