The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was inaugrated on 15th November to ensure that benefits of Central Government's Flagship Schemes reach 100% beneficiaries.
"Those who have not recieved the benefits from the Central government schemes, I want to complete that work in 5 years and committed to find the right people who need it", Prime Minister Narendra Modi affirmed. He stressed upon allocating the goverment's budget in the intiative, and hence, addressing that these Van's is a guarantee of Modi's development.
The Yatra aims to cover every village of India till January 26, 2024.
In just 15 days it's commencement, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra Vans have reached more than 12 thousand Panchayats, with more than 30 lakh people taking advantage of the same.
During the ongoing program, PM Modi has inaugrated the Mahila Kisan Drone Centre, with 10,000th Jan Aushadhi Center opened in AIIMS-Deoghar and undertaking the pledge to take the number till 25,000.
Initially, the Prime Minister's government rolled out the yatra by naming it as a 'Vikas Rath' but therein the people began calling it a vehicle of development guaranteed by Modi. The Janta who are benefitted from this initative put forth that "India is moving forward, it is neither going to stop nor it is ever going to get exhausted, if 140 crore countrymen have taken the pledge of a developed India, then this country will indeed become developed"
PM Modi mentions that the vigour for the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra does not come without a reason, people have witnessed the work of 10 tedious years, and have ignited immense faith in the Government of India.
Further, he highlights that "Women are key participants of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra" and has undertaken a constant endeavour to ensure women-led development. He also stresses upon the urge to include all targeted benefeciaries in a time-bound manner.
Nizamabad MP Dharmapuri Arvind said "The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra was being organised to ensure that the benefits of all welfare schemes reach up to the people of the last mile, and no poor was left out in the journey of development"
MP Dharmapuri revealed a calendar prepared with the details of central schemes on the occasion, spreading awareness about the process, how one could scan the QR code placed on the calendar with a cell phone and know about the listed welfare schemes being implemented by the Centre.
During the Yatra in Jaibhavnagar, Union Minister for Labour & Employment, Bhupendra Yadav, engaged with various beneficiaries of the schemes. He reaffirmed the government's commitment to citizen's welfare, highlighting the Yatra's role in ensuring every individual accessess government benefits.
