Yamaha Music India has announced the appointment of AR Rahman as its brand ambassador, marking a major step in the company’s efforts to strengthen India’s music ecosystem.
An Academy Award-winning composer and globally celebrated musical icon, Rahman has played a pivotal role in taking Indian music to international audiences. His journey reflects the global potential of Indian talent—an outlook that closely aligns with Yamaha Music India’s vision of nurturing and expanding the country’s music culture. Yamamoto Taketoshi, Managing Director of Yamaha Music India, emphasised the importance of music in the company’s philosophy.
