To realise the vision of making the state a $350 billion economy over the next five years, the three-day 'Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit' will be held from December 9. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest and deliver the inaugural address.
The event will host industrialists, investors, and ambassadors from 32 countries, 17 of which will be "partner countries." The summit will be attended by several Union Cabinet and State Cabinet members, more than 5,000 investors, business and trade officials, and delegates. MoUs for investment proposals worth Rs 30 lakh crore have already been signed.
Eminent business figures scheduled to attend include Gautam Adani, Kumar Mangalam Birla, Anil Agarwal, Anand Mahindra, and Sanjeev Puri. At least 4,000 policemen, including 11 IPS officers, have been deployed to maintain law and order.
Around 180 special guests, including investors, businesspeople, and ambassadors, will attend the summit, with four five-star hotels booked for their stay. Additional Commissioner (Law and Order) Rameshwar Singh confirmed that strict security arrangements have been made for the Prime Minister’s visit to Jaipur and the summit.
"The JECC campus has been turned into a security fortress. Tight security measures have been put in place throughout the city. During the event, two IPS officers and other police personnel will oversee traffic management."
In addition to the inaugural and 'country sessions', the summit will feature the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave, MSME Conclave, and thematic sessions for 12 sectors. These sessions will bring together experts from across the globe, top industry and business officials, and representatives from the Central and Rajasthan governments to discuss key challenges, technological advancements, and emerging opportunities.
On the second day, the Pravasi Rajasthani Conclave will unite Rajasthanis from around the world on one platform to promote cooperation. On the third day, MSME entrepreneurs, investors, experts, and government officials will engage in discussions about the future challenges and preparations for the sector.
The partner countries of the summit include Denmark, Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Switzerland, Malaysia, Spain, Cuba, Venezuela, Morocco, Argentina, Brazil, Costa Rica, Nepal, Oman, Poland, and Thailand. Additionally, the US, the UK, Germany, Australia, Indonesia, Egypt, Finland, Russia, the Seychelles, Chad, Ecuador, Ghana, Iraq, Madagascar, Paraguay, and Zimbabwe will also participate.
