Mashruwala, aged 76, has been a pivotal figure at Reliance since the era of founder Dhirubhai Ambani, actively participating in various projects and business endeavors.
His departure from Jio will take effect from June 9, according to the filing. However, Pankaj Mohan Pawar, the other managing director, will continue in his position, as stated in the BSE filing.
The official filing stated, "This is to inform that Sanjay Mashruwala, Managing Director, has tendered his resignation as Director of the company, effective from June 9, 2024."
