Sigma Advanced Systems on Monday announced that it has entered into a seven-year long-term agreement with Rolls Royce, valued at approximately ₹3,800 crore, for the manufacturing and supply of aerospace systems.
Under the agreement, Sigma Advanced Systems will provide a wide range of high-precision engineered, safety-critical components and assemblies for Rolls Royce’s aerospace programmes. The deal covers multiple platforms and is expected to strengthen collaboration between the two companies in the global aviation supply chain.
According to the company, this partnership is not limited to a single project but is structured as a programme-level engagement. It will be executed through Sigma’s integrated manufacturing network spanning both India and the United Kingdom. The company officials said this reflects its evolution into a globally connected aerospace manufacturing platform, rather than a location-specific supplier.
Sigma Advanced Systems Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director Sunil Kumar Kalidindi said the agreement marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy. He added that the partnership validates the firm’s sustained investments in building a seamless India–UK manufacturing ecosystem and its continued focus on quality, reliability, and long-term global partnerships.

Kalidindi further stated that the collaboration will help deepen Sigma’s participation in international aerospace programmes while enabling the company to scale up its technological and manufacturing capabilities across both regions.
The long-term contract is also seen as a major boost for India’s private aerospace manufacturing sector, which has been expanding its role in global supply chains for high-value engineering components. Industry observers note that such agreements highlight growing confidence in Indian firms for precision manufacturing in the aerospace and defence space, particularly in programmes led by established global players like Rolls Royce.
The company said it will continue to invest in advanced manufacturing technologies and strengthen its engineering capabilities to meet the stringent quality and safety requirements of global aviation programmes over the duration of the agreement.
