Ahead of filing her nomination papers for the Amravati Lok Sabha seat, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Navneet Rana expressed optimism about garnering support from the people of the constituency.
She highlighted the upcoming elections as an opportunity for voters to contribute to nation-building and development. Rana emphasised the significance of the moment, stating, “It is a big day for myself and my constituency.”
Performing a pooja at her residence before filing the nomination, Rana reiterated her dedication to serving the people of her region. She expressed gratitude for the chance to represent her constituency and underscored the importance of the lotus symbol, symbolising the BJP, on the ballot box.
Accompanied by her husband Ravi Rana, Navneet Rana also sought blessings at Hanuman Garhi Mandir in Amravati, acknowledging the divine support in her journey. Reflecting on her approach to politics, she emphasised the importance of integrity and selflessness in decision-making.
Navneet Rana, formerly an independent MP from Amravati, recently joined the BJP in the presence of BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
Recalling her previous electoral victory, she expressed pride in the trust placed in her by the people of Amravati during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
Having entered politics after marrying BJP politician Ravi Rana, Navneet Rana aims to secure victory for the BJP in her constituency. Maharashtra, with 48 Lok Sabha seats, plays a crucial role in national politics.
The upcoming elections in the state are scheduled in five phases, spanning from April 19 to May 20.
In the 2019 elections, the BJP secured a significant number of seats in Maharashtra, along with its ally Shiv Sena. As Navneet Rana gears up for the electoral battle in Amravati, she aims to uphold the BJP's legacy and work towards the welfare of her constituents.
