Addressing a massive crowd at the historic Gandhi Chowk in Hamirpur, Anurag Thakur, the Lok Sabha candidate for Hamirpur constituency, expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support received from the people.

Thakur, buoyed by the energy of the rally, asserted that the BJP would achieve resounding success in Himachal Pradesh, symbolised by "fours and sixes" of victory. He credited the unwavering dedication of BJP workers and highlighted their pivotal role in every election, where they transformed into advocates of the lotus symbol. Thakur also paid tribute to senior BJP leaders for their contributions to the state's progress.

Thakur emphasised BJP's commitment to fulfilling promises made to the people, citing significant achievements such as the abrogation of Article 370, eradication of Triple Talaq, and the construction of the Ram Temple. He underscored the party's dedication to preserving the essence of Sanatan Dharma and criticised Congress for its history of deceitful pledges, highlighting instances where promises of employment and development fell short.

Thakur outlined the transformative development initiatives undertaken in Hamirpur parliamentary constituency under the Modi government, including investments in healthcare, education, and infrastructure. He cited the establishment of key institutions such as AIIMS Bilaspur, Triple IT Una, and Kendriya Vidyalayas, reflecting the government's commitment to holistic progress.

Former Chief Minister Jairam Thakur, addressing the enthusiastic gathering at Gandhi Chowk, predicted a historic victory for Anurag Thakur in the upcoming elections. He lauded the overwhelming support received from the people and expressed confidence in BJP's prospects, foreseeing the formation of two governments post-elections. He lauded the monumental decisions such as the abolition of Article 370, which brought Jammu and Kashmir into the mainstream, and the historic verdict on Triple Talaq, empowering Muslim women. Thakur condemned Congress for its legacy of deception, citing instances where false assurances of employment and development left the people disillusioned.

 


Anurag Thakur's vision for Hamirpur encompassed comprehensive development across sectors, including healthcare, education, and infrastructure.
