The assets of several Haryana ministers have increased over the past five years, with Anoop Dhanak leading the list, experiencing a shocking 375% rise in his assets.
BJP candidate from Uklana for the Haryana Assembly polls, Dhanak’s assets grew from Rs 1.39 crore in 2019 to Rs 6.59 crore in 2024.
He previously served as the Minister of State for Archaeology and Museums under former Chief Minister Manohar Lal.
Minister of State for Transport and Child Development, Aseem Goyal’s wealth has also increased exceptionally from Rs 5.5 crore in 2019 to Rs 20 crore making a 260 pc increase in asset growth.
Meanwhile, Dushyant Chautala, the former Deputy Chief Minister, remains the affluent minister, with his assets rising by 64%, from Rs 72 crore to Rs 122 crore.
Whereas, former Power Minister, Ranjit Singh experiences a 9% decline in his asset collection, dropping from Rs 27.08 crore to Rs 24.04 crore.
Current Health Minister Anil Vij witnessed quite a modest increase as compared to others, from Rs 1.25 crore to Rs 1.5 crore, while Women and Child Development Minister Kamlesh Dhanda's assets rose from Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 3.25 crore.
In comparison, Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini's wealth increased by 62%, from Rs 3.58 crore to Rs 5.81 crore.
Mool Chand Sharma, who is contesting from Ballabhgarh, witnessed a 169% rise in his assets, going from Rs. 12.5 crore to Rs. 33.5 crore.
