AAP MLA from Punjab’s Jalalabad constituency Goldy Kamboj, along with two other party leaders today alleged that the BJP offered them a lot of money to leave AAP and join them.
Kamboj also claimed that AAP leaders were offered between Rs 20-25 crore for leaving the party and joining the BJP.
The AAP leaders claimed that they got phone calls from people linked to the BJP. These callers promised them a huge amount of money if they switched sides.
They even shared the phone numbers from which they got these calls. Surprisingly, one of the numbers was from Cyprus.
The AAP leaders said that these calls show how the BJP is trying to become more powerful without winning elections fairly.
In another development, AAP MP Sushil Kumar Rinku and MLA Sheetal Angural joined the BJP today.
This move was expected as there were floating rumours about them leaving the AAP for BJP.
