BJP candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha, expressed that the entire country is keenly awaiting the outcome of the Hyderabad Lok Sabha seat in the 2024 elections. She shared her excitement and confidence in the support for BJP, particularly for this crucial seat.

Latha, competing against AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi, highlighted the significance of the Hyderabad constituency. Owaisi, a prominent Muslim leader, has been representing the Hyderabad seat since 2004, securing his last victory with a margin of over 3 lakh votes.

Latha, a long-time RSS worker, represents the BJP's efforts to make significant inroads in this key constituency.

Speaking on Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s contributions, Latha emphasized Modi’s dedication and achievements during his two terms. She stated that Modi’s work has not only benefited the nation but has also created a lasting impression on the hearts of Indians, referring to it as 'Modi Ka Pariwar'.

Latha expressed her confidence in the BJP's performance in the Lok Sabha elections, predicting a victory of over 400 seats. She believed that the nation's prayers and positive energy would support BJP's success, including winning the Hyderabad seat.

Asaduddin Owaisi also made his presence felt at the AIMIM headquarters in Hyderabad. AIMIM’s counting agents were dispatched to various counting centers from the party headquarters, equipped with their ID cards.

Telangana concluded its voting for all 17 Lok Sabha seats on May 13, during the fourth phase of the elections. The state saw a voter turnout of 65.67 percent.

In the previous 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the BRS (formerly TRS) secured nine out of 17 seats, while BJP and Congress won four and three seats respectively.

The 2024 Lok Sabha elections were conducted over seven phases, spanning 44 days from April 19 to June 1.
