Earlier, the party's second list showcased 72 candidates, boasting prominent figures such as Union ministers Nitin Gadkari, Piyush Goyal, and Anurag Singh Thakur, along with former chief ministers Manohar Lal Khattar, Trivendra Singh Rawat, and Basavaraj Bommai.
BJP's chief spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Anil Baluni will be contesting from Garhwal constituency in Uttarakhand.
The unveiling of the first list by BJP national general secretary Vinod Tawade marked a significant milestone, encompassing candidates for various constituencies across several states.
These included 51 seats from Uttar Pradesh, 20 from West Bengal, 24 from Madhya Pradesh, 15 each from Gujarat and Rajasthan, 12 from Kerala, 9 from Telangana, 11 from Assam, 11 each from Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh, five from Delhi, two from Jammu and Kashmir, three from Uttarakhand, two from Arunachal Pradesh, and one each from Goa, Tripura, Andaman and Nicobar, and Daman and Diu.
