Congress leader Sachin Pilot expressed confidence in his party's prospects, asserting that the Congress party would secure more seats than the BJP.

 

Pilot shared his sentiments after casting his vote at a 'zero-waste' polling booth in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

 

Addressing the media, Pilot stated, "People are liking our party, agenda, manifesto, and narrative. Congress party will win with more seats than BJP." He emphasized that feedback received indicated a favorable outcome for the Congress and the INDIA alliance, hinting at a potential government formation on June 4th.

 

Pilot highlighted the discerning approach of voters, noting that they were evaluating the government's ten-year report card meticulously before making their decision.

 

He expressed confidence that the electorate would not fall for false promises, given the intelligence of the Indian populace.

 

Speaking specifically about regions where the Congress and BJP traditionally compete, Pilot anticipated a strong performance by the Congress.

 

He said, "In the north and west, where Congress and BJP always compete, Congress will perform much better, and I am confident our candidates will surely win." 

 

He also expressed optimism about Rajasthan, stating his belief that the Congress would secure more seats than the BJP in the state.

 

Pilot outlined the target of securing 272 seats to form a government and expressed confidence in the ability of the INDIA alliance to achieve this goal.
