The Election Commission of India (ECI) is closely monitoring half of the polling booths through webcasting. Additionally, chief electoral officer (CEO) Navdeep Rinwa disclosed that 1,510 video teams have been deployed at various polling stations.
To ensure inclusivity, the commission has set up 111 model polling stations, with 45 managed by women, 36 by youths, and 32 by differently-abled personnel. Special arrangements, including wheelchairs and dedicated volunteers, have been made for voters with disabilities.
Security of the strong rooms, where electronic voting machines (EVMs) will be stored post-polling, will be overseen by the CPMF.
In case of emergencies, air ambulances and helicopters have been stationed in Moradabad and Bareilly for swift transport of security personnel, as highlighted by Rinwa.
To maintain oversight, the ECI has deployed six general observers, five police observers, 10 expenditure observers, along with 1,272 sector magistrates, 150 zonal magistrates, 103 static magistrates, and 1,861 micro observers across the eight constituencies.
Voters are encouraged to lodge complaints via the helpline number 18001801950 or through the C-Vigil App.
