Indian land freed from Chinese occupation, two crore jobs for youth every year and 24-hour power supply in the country along with good education and health facilities are Delhi CM and AAP national convener Arvind Kejriwal's guarantees to voters if the INDIA bloc is voted to power.
Announcing 10 Kejriwal Ki Guarantee (kejriwal's guarantees), his take on the BJP manifesto focussed on Modi Ki Guarantee, the AAP National Convener at a press conference on Sunday listed 10 promises, work on which he said would be carried out on a war-footing if the INDIA bloc formed the government at the Centre.
Hitting the ground running after his release from jail on interim bail, Kejriwal said INDIA bloc will form the next government and his party will be a part of it.
However, Kejriwal said his guarantees had not been discussed as yet with the opposition alliance and that he would urge them to fulfill all promises.
The opposition bloc, apart from AAP, has Congress, Trinamool Congress and Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam among others as members.
His guarantees were a 'brand,' Kejriwal said, listing AAP's successes in fulfilling promises of free power, good schools and Mohalla Clinics in Delhi.
"We worked on management to ensure 24-hour power supply in Punjab and Delhi. We can do it in the entire country. The government schools in the country are in a bad shape. We will arrange good quality education across the country. We know how to do it," he said, adding, "Modi has not fulfilled his guarantees."
Elaborating on his other guarantees, Kejriwal promised to end the Agniveer scheme and ensure that farmers got MSP for their crops as per the Swaminathan Commission's report.
Country was most important (sarvopari). "Rashtra Sarvopari is our guarantee. China has occupied our land and we will free it from their occupation," he said.
Kejriwal also promised full statehood for Delhi.
Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 in connection with a money laundering probe relating to alleged irregularities in the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy 2021-22.
A Bench of Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Dutta granted interim bail to the Delhi CM on May 10.
