“The Tadepalli Palace has rejoiced with the assurances given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” observed the TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday, after bearing witness to the response to Praja Galam meetings.

In an attempt to express confidence in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Naidu added: “PM Modi, who has already transformed the country into the fifth biggest economy in the world, will take the nation into the highest position after winning Lok Sabha polls.”

“We have a vision of turning Andhra Pradesh into ‘vikasitha’,” added Naidu, asserting that Telugu Desam Party allied NDA will win 160 Assembly segments and all the 25 Lok Sabha seats in the state.

He assured that the TDP-BJP-Jana Sena alliance will enable the state to scale new heights.

Expressing confidence in Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Naidu said: “After facing hurdles, Kalyan has proved himself to be a hero not only in the film industry but also in real life.”

At the occasion, Naidu did not forget to target CM Jagan Mohan Reddy. While terming Jagan the traitor of North Andhra, Naidu remarked, “Jagan did not spend any funds for the development of the region. Whereas, I stayed here for 10 days to oversee the relief measures during the Hud Hud cyclone. Like previous elections, people will extend their support to us.”

“The ongoing elections are a battle between dharma and adharma. Let us vote for CM Ramesh, the NDA candidate for the Anakapalli Lok Sabha seat, as he has very good relations with Central leaders and, thus, will be able to derive Central funds for the development of the area,” Naidu exhorted the people of North Andhra, which is a stronghold for the Backward Classes (BCs) and the birthplace for the TDP.

Naidu also made an appeal to the voters to elect Kothapalli Geetha and M Sri Bharat as MPs from Araku and Visakhapatnam. Since all three will work towards ensuring welfare of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
