Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party during his campaign in Madhya Pradesh's Khargone on Tuesday, accusing it of plotting to harm the nation through dangerous conspiracies.
PM Modi also criticised the Congress and INDI alliance leaders for their apparent affinity towards Pakistan during the election season.
He cited instances of Congress leaders making objectionable remarks about the valour of the armed forces, urging voters to respond fittingly to such disgraceful comments.
"A Congress leader gave a clean chit to Pakistan and blamed our forces for the Poonch terror attack," PM Modi stated. "Meanwhile, a leader from the alliance remarked, 'Pakistan is not wearing bangles'."
Addressing a public rally, PM Modi highlighted the alarming intentions of the Congress, as evidenced by recent departures from the party after decades of association.
"A woman leader who visited the Ram Mandir was subjected to such torment that she had to leave the Congress," he asserted. "Another departing leader claimed that the Congress had been infiltrated by elements from the Muslim League and Maoists."
Referring to Rahul Gandhi as "Congress' Shehzada," PM Modi claimed that there were plans within the party to challenge the Supreme Court's decision on the Ram Temple.
"I am not making baseless accusations; these claims are coming from leaders who have been part of the party for many years," he emphasised.
The upcoming election in Khargone, along with seven other constituencies, including Indore and Ujjain, is scheduled for the fourth phase on May 13.
Meanwhile, voting is currently underway in the third phase for nine parliamentary seats, including Bhopal, Vidisha, Guna, Gwalior, Bhind, Morena, Sagar, and Betul.
