Rajasthan gears up for high-profile visits as Home Minister Amit Shah and Prime Minister Narendra Modi plan trips ahead of the looming Lok Sabha elections.
Amit Shah is slated to arrive on March 31 for a two-day excursion, focusing on seven key Lok Sabha constituencies, including Jaipur, Dholpur, Nagaur, Dausa, Churu, Jhunjhunu, and Karauli. His agenda features a crucial meeting with the core committees of these constituencies, followed by a roadshow and public address in Sikar.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Modi's visit is scheduled for April 2, marking his first public appearance in Rajasthan in the run-up to the elections. PM Modi will address the public in Kotputli, within the Jaipur Rural Lok Sabha constituency, and is also set to speak at LBS College in Kotputli.
April 2nd's engagement will mark PM Modi's fourth visit to Rajasthan this year alone. His previous visits included participation in the DG-IG conference in Jaipur from January 5-7, a subsequent roadshow with French President Emmanuel Macron on January 25, and a visit to Jaisalmer, where he observed the Bharat Shakti exercise in the Pokhran area.
