Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on the Congress party, stating that its recently released manifesto reflects the ideology of the Muslim League, while addressing a rally in Saharanpur.
He criticised Congress for being out of touch with the aspirations of modern India and accused it of being influenced by outdated ideologies. PM Modi likened the Congress manifesto to the thinking of the Muslim League during the freedom movement, suggesting that it is disconnected from the needs of contemporary society. Furthermore, he asserted that such a Congress cannot lead India into the 21st century.
In response to the release of the Congress manifesto, PM Modi emphasised that the opposition party is disconnected from the hopes and aspirations of the Indian people.
He criticised Congress for failing to evolve with the times and accused it of adopting an ideology reminiscent of the Muslim League during the freedom struggle.
PM Modi highlighted the disconnect between Congress and the current needs of the nation, suggesting that the party lacks a vision for India's progress. He also criticised the tie-up between Congress and the Samajwadi Party, referring to their unsuccessful partnership in previous elections as a "flop film" being released again.
During his speech in Saharanpur, PM Modi reiterated the BJP's commitment to its core principles and the welfare of the nation. He emphasised the importance of national policy over politics and reaffirmed BJP's dedication to serving the people of India.
PM Modi highlighted the achievements of the BJP government, including the abrogation of Article 370 and the passage of the bill against triple talaq. He also pledged to continue the fight against corruption and uphold the values of secularism and social justice.
The Prime Minister concluded his speech by rallying support for the BJP ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He urged voters to choose the NDA over the INDIA alliance, emphasising the government's mission-oriented approach.
PM Modi asserted that the BJP is committed to fulfilling the aspirations of every Indian and ensuring the nation's progress. He called on the people of Saharanpur and across the country to support the BJP in the upcoming polls, scheduled to begin on April 19.
