Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold a Road Show in Ranchi and an election rally in Chaibasa on May 3 on the first day of his two-day visit to Jharkhand.
The PM on the second day of his visit will address two other rallies in Palamu and Gumla districts connecting to voters of six constituencies – Singhbum, Jamshedpur, Ranchi, Palamu, Chatra and Lohardaga -- during his visit to the State.
State BJP General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Aditya Sahu said that the Prime Minister will reach Ranchi on May 3 at 4 pm. He will go to Raj Bhavan from Bhagwan Birsa Munda Airport.
He said that thousands of people will queue up to welcome the Prime Minister on the entire route of Birsa Munda Rajpath, where the PM will hold a road show from Bharat Mata Chowk to Valmiki Nagar, Kishoreganj Chowk, Gadi Khana Chowk, Marwari Bhawan Gaushala, Girdhar Plaza, Ratu Road Chowk.
On May 04, the PM will hold a rally in Palamu and Lohardaga, from where he will depart for Darbhanga in Bihar.
Meanwhile, strict security arrangements have been made in Ranchi, Singhbhum, Palamu and Gumla districts for PM’s programme. A total of 19 IPS officers and 99 DSP rank officers have been deputed.
Police have made tight security arrangements to ensure that there is no lapse in the security of the PM. Barricading is being done on the way to the PM's visit in Ranchi.
District police and central force personnel will be deployed for the security of the PM. In this regard, necessary guidelines were given to all police officials for law and order duty.
