Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dimple Yadav hold a comfortable lead in Uttar Pradesh as per the latest updates.
The Yadav clan has fielded five members in the Lok Sabha elections. Akhilesh Yadav is leading in Kannauj with a margin of 61,351 votes against BJP's Subrat Pathak.
Dimple Yadav is leading in Mainpuri with a margin of 68,261 votes against her closest rival, Jaiveer Singh of BJP, according to the Election Commission.
In Azamgarh, Dharmendra Yadav of SP is leading by 45,069 votes against BJP's Dinesh Lal Yadav Nirahua.
In Firozabad, Akshay Yadav, son of party leader Ram Gopal Yadav, is leading by 56,986 votes against BJP's Vishwadeep Singh.
In Badaun, Aditya Yadav, son of SP leader Shivpal Yadav, is trailing by 16,751 votes behind BJP's Durvijay Singh Shakya. Initially, the party had given the ticket to Shivpal, but later it was transferred to his son Aditya.
