Union Minister Kiren Rijiju has formally submitted his nomination papers to contest as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate from the Arunachal West Parliamentary constituency, alongside Home Minister Bamang Felix and Horticulture and Agriculture Minister Tage Taki.
The nomination filing ceremony took place in Aalo, where Rijiju addressed the public, highlighting his extensive work and accomplishments during his three terms representing Arunachal Pradesh.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and local BJP MLA candidates, Rijiju emphasised his commitment to the state's development.
As a former Union Minister of Law and Justice and the current Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Rijiju underscored his role in bringing various developmental projects to Arunachal Pradesh, focusing on infrastructure, education, healthcare, and connectivity.
Expressing his dedication to the welfare and progress of Arunachal Pradesh, Rijiju assured the gathering of his continued efforts if re-elected.
He pledged to prioritise the needs of the people and work towards further prosperity and growth in the region.
Rijiju's decision to contest from the Arunachal West constituency has attracted attention, given his stature as a seasoned politician with a proven track record. His candidacy is anticipated to receive substantial support from both party loyalists and the general electorate.
With the formal filing of his nomination papers, Rijiju has officially launched his campaign for the upcoming parliamentary elections.
