Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal today said that voting for BJP will be a betrayal to tribal society as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP hates them.
Addressing an election campaign rally in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand on Tuesday, Kejriwal termed jailed former Chief Minister Hemant Soren as the biggest tribal leader of the nation.
He said that it would be an irony if BJP wins even a single seat in Jharkhand.
“It depends on you whether Hemant Soren will remain in jail or outside. If we vote for the INDI alliance, Hemant Soren will come out. Tell everyone not to press the lotus button. By doing this you will betray the tribal society. Hemant Soren will be among you on 5th June if INDI Alliance wins,” he said.
Kejriwal, campaigning in support of JMM candidate Sameer Mohanty, said that Hemant Soren was put in jail under political conspiracy.
“Kalpana is challenging Modi by becoming the queen of Jhansi. There is energy in the whole of Jharkhand. Last time we won 2 seats but this time we will win 14 seats.”
The AAP leader said that 2.5 crore people of Delhi are grateful to Hemant Soren for supplying Oxygen to them during the Covid pandemic.
“There is no order against Hemant Soren. He is still put in jail. Modi ji, this is hooliganism. No one called me guilty but put me in jail. There is anger in the tribal society. Modi ji has challenged the tribal society. If you press the button, the sound should echo in Modi's ears,” he said.
Kejriwal said that the BJP wants to end reservation. “If you want to save reservation, Modi will have to be removed. The country has to be saved. I have come here for Hemant Soren. With folded hands I have come to beg you to save the country. This Election is the election of the existence of the country,” he said.
