Actor Janhvi Kapoor, currently busy with her upcoming film "Ulajh," has been hospitalised in South Mumbai due to severe food poisoning.
The news was confirmed by her father, producer Boney Kapoor.
He shared that she is expected to be discharged within a day or two.
A source close to the actor disclosed that Janhvi was admitted on Thursday after suffering from a "severe case of food poisoning."
Her health condition forced her to postpone all appointments scheduled for Wednesday and the rest of the week. While she is on the road to recovery, she is still grappling with weakness.
Boney Kapoor reassured fans, stating, “Her condition is better now, and she is likely to recover in one or two days, after which she will be discharged from the hospital.”
Janhvi had returned to Mumbai from Chennai on Tuesday and began feeling unwell on Wednesday, leading to her decision to rest and avoid any public appearances.
