After making a stunning fashion statement on the red carpet in a custom-made Falguni Shane Peacock outfit, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is back with another striking look.
The actress chose another custom-made creation by the designer duo to exude maximum glam. She wore a silver and pastel green gown adorned with tassels and all the right glitzy details.
However, her second outfit failed to impress fans. Many called her gown "over the top" and "made of plastic."
A user of X wrote - "I'm no fashion expert, but anyone can see Falguni Shane Peacock's gowns do nothing for Aishwarya Rai (or anyone else). These outlandish clothes look like recycled plastic garbage bags in the name of couture. A handloom saree could be a million times better than this plastic crap."
Another user wrote - "I think Aishwarya Rai’s styling team through the years have one agenda - to test if her beauty can transcend the worst clothes. We will do our absolute worst - and demonstrate that clothes don’t maketh the woman."
Some even called out the actress' stylists and suggested they "need to be fired."
