Anant Ambani, the younger son of Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, is set to wed Radhika Merchant in an extravagant ceremony in Mumbai today. Guests at the wedding are being treated to luxurious accommodations at five-star hotels and extravagant gifts.
In addition to the opulent festivities, Reliance employees have also been presented with a gift box to commemorate the special occasion.
Many Reliance employees have posted photos and videos of the gift box they received prior to the grand Indian wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant on July 12 on social media.
The red gift box comes with gold lettering that reads: “With the divine grace of our devis and devtas, we celebrate the wedding of Anant and Radhika. With best wishes, Nita and Mukesh Ambani.”
The box contains four packets of Haldiram’s namkeen, a box of sweets, and a silver coin. Among the namkeen packets are Haldiram’s aloo bhujia sev and lite chiwda.
Nita and Mukesh Ambani also held a collective wedding ceremony for 50 couples prior to their younger son’s wedding. The couples were given a Rs 1 lakh cheque along with gold and silver jewellery, groceries, and other household items from the Ambanis.
Previously, various guests had shared images of the luxurious wedding invitation they had received. The wedding is scheduled for July 12, followed by a reception on July 15. As part of the invitation, guests were presented with a silver "travelling mandir," a pashmina shawl, and more.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant commenced their pre-wedding celebrations with a lavish three-day event in March, during which attendees were transported to the expansive Reliance estate in Jamnagar.
The main attraction of the Jamnagar celebrations was an exclusive musical performance by Rihanna, which was succeeded by a show featuring Diljit Dosanjh the next day.
