Ananya Panday is rising above the internet noise after her Bharatanatyam sequence in “Chand Mera Dil” went viral for all the wrong reasons.
The clip, intended as a bold fusion of Bharatanatyam, hip-hop, and locking, featuring Ananya and her co-star Lakshya, faced heavy trolling and serious critiques from several quarters, including seasoned classical dancers.

After keeping quiet about the backlash, Ananya took to Instagram today to share a serene carousel with the caption, "Life is beautiful." The post features the actress with her sister Rysa, a pizza and flowers. Lost in a cosy world of music, Ananya looks stunning as she basks in the warmth of the sun and the quiet magnificence of the landscape.
After the controversy, assistant choreographer Ananya Kurup had defended Panday and urged critics to respect the actress’ work ethic. She highlighted how Panday displayed real courage and commitment when she stepped out of her comfort zone to perform the classical dance under a tight schedule.

"Trying a classical art form outside your comfort zone takes courage and dedication. Bharatanatyam is something dancers train in for years to perfect the grace, expressions, and technique. @ananyapanday put in genuine hard work and effort in a very short span of time, and that deserves appreciation. Instead of pulling someone down for trying something new, let's encourage artists who challenge themselves and give their best," Kurup wrote.
The script for “Chand Mera Dil” has been written by Vivek Soni and Tushar Paranjape. Sachin-Jigar have composed the music for the film while Debojeet Ray is the cinematographer.
On the work front, Ananya was last seen in “Tu Meri Main Tera Main Tera Tu Meri” that also featured Kartik Aaryan. Lakshya, meanwhile, recently appeared in “The Ba***ds of Bollywood”, a Netflix show by Aryan Khan.
