Bobby’s half-sister actor Esha Deol shared a story on her Instagram handle and said, "30 years and lots lots more. More power @iambobbydeol."


Marking 30 years of his career in Bollywood, actor Bobby Deol took to social media on Monday to celebrate a journey defined by numerous ups, downs and powerful comebacks.

 

Bobby made his debut with "Barsaat", which released on September 29, 1995. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film also featured Twinkle Khanna. Deol essayed the role of Badal in the film.

 

The 56-year-old, who earned acclaim for his recent appearance in Netflix series “The Ba*ds of Bollywood”, shared a video montage on Instagram and penned a heartfelt message for fans. Thanking them for making the journey "worthwhile," he added that he is "just getting started".

 

"30 years of many emotions on and off screen ... all made worthwhile by your love. That fire still burns and I am just getting started," read the caption.

The comments section was flooded in no time with an outpouring of love from fans and colleagues alike.

 

Preity Zinta wrote, "Congratulations Lord Bobby. This is just the start. Love you loads." Zinta was Bobby’s co-star in "Soldier".

Bobby starred in several projects throughout his career but it was in the 2023 film "Animal" helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, which brought him back to the limelight. He portrayed the role of antagonist Abrar Haque.

 

His latest work is "The Ba***ds of Bollywood", which released on Netflix on September 18. The series marks the directorial debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan. The seven-episode series also stars Lakshya Lalwani, Mona Singh, Sahher Bambba, Anya Singh and Raghav Juyal.
