At CinemaCon, the annual convention held in Las Vegas, Sony Pictures unveiled a series of major show, building excitement for what’s to come. Here’s a look.
Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse
Among the biggest reveals of the night was the official announcement of Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. Directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson, this highly anticipated sequel is set to hit theatres on June 4, 2027.
Fans are in for a treat with the return of Shameik Moore and Hailee Steinfeld. To increase up the excitement, the team unveiled the first-ever footage of Miles Morales, leaving the audience eager for the film’s release.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day
Just when fans thought the excitement couldn’t get any bigger, Sony Pictures officially announced Spider-Man 4, titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the highly anticipated ‘fourquel’ will see Tom Holland back in action.
Adding to the buzz, Holland sent a witty video message for the CinemaCon audience. The film is set to hit cinemas exclusively on July 31, 2026.
The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event
The highlight of the night came with the announcement of The Beatles: A Four-Film Cinematic Event, directed by Sam Mendes. As a band that defined a generation and shaped music history, their upcoming cinematic journey is sure to evoke a sense of nostalgia among fans worldwide.

Director, Sam also revealed the star-studded cast, including Joseph Quinn as George Harrison, Paul Mescal as Paul McCartney, Barry Keoghan as Ringo Starr, and Harris Dickinson as John Lennon. The Beatles will hit the theatres in April 2028.
CinemaCon 2025 also saw the presence of Ralph Macchio and Ben Wang, who were there to promote their upcoming film Karate Kid: Legends, which is set to hit the theatres in India on May 30.
