Bollywood actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have welcomed their second child, a baby girl. The couple shared the news in a joint Instagram post on Saturday evening, September 19, 2026.
The announcement featured an image of a baby’s footprint and marked the family’s expansion from three members to four. Their post carried the message: “Welcome Baby Girl. 19|9|2026 Dua, Deepika and Ranveer.” It was also captioned with an evil eye emoji.
Deepika and Ranveer are already parents to their daughter Dua. A day before the birth, the couple visited Mumbai’s Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings.
The couple had recently shared a series of intimate black-and-white photographs on the occasion of Dua’s second birthday. One image showed Ranveer holding Deepika’s baby bump as they smiled with their foreheads touching. Deepika was seen in a fitted lace outfit, while Ranveer wore a white shirt with trousers.
Deepika and Ranveer’s upcoming projects
Deepika Padukone will next appear in Siddharth Anand’s King, which features Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. She is also part of Atlee’s science-fiction action film Raaka, led by Allu Arjun.
Ranveer Singh is currently occupied with the shoot of Pralay.
