Hollywood actress Elisha Cuthbert is back to the screen after four years with Prime Video’s latest romantic drama series “Every Year After”.
Known for her roles in "The Girl Next Door" and "The Ranch", Cuthbert said she did not want to be on set after the birth of her second child.
The mother of two said she would balance out her work after welcoming her daughter Zaphire Phaneuf in 2017 but after the birth of her son Fable Phaneuf, she knew she just wanted to be with her children.

She said she “didn’t want to be on set” in recent years, until booking her role as Sue Florek in “Every Year After”, which is based on Carley Fortune’s “Every Summer After” books.
"I realised because I had worked all through the first four years of our first child, and it was really hard to separate that mom from the working person I was... So, when we had our second, I just felt like I didn’t want to waste any second of it, and I didn’t want to be on set," she said.
Cuthbert starred in the crime film "Bandit", which released in 2022. She then stepped away from acting before returning with "Every Year After", all eight episodes of which are now available to stream.It also features S Soverall and Matt Cornett, among others.
