Hollywood actress Elisha Cuthbert is back to the screen after four years with Prime Video’s latest romantic drama series “Every Year After”.

She said she “didn’t want to be on set” in recent years, until booking her role as Sue Florek in “Every Year After”, which is based on Carley Fortune’s “Every Summer After” books.

"I realised because I had worked all through the first four years of our first child, and it was really hard to separate that mom from the working person I was... So, when we had our second, I just felt like I didn’t want to waste any second of it, and I didn’t want to be on set," she said.

Cuthbert starred in the crime film "Bandit", which released in 2022. She then stepped away from acting before returning with "Every Year After", all eight episodes of which are now available to stream. It also features S Soverall and Matt Cornett, among others.
