Actor Elle Fanning hopes to have children and start a family of her own someday.
The 27-year-old actress revealed that having children is “definitely” something that she wants. She was speaking at the Los Angeles premiere of her latest film “Sentimental Value”.
She said working on the Norwegian drama, directed by Joachim Trier, which follows the story of sisters Nora and Agnes reconnecting with their estranged father, became a profound lesson in navigating her own family dynamics.
“It's kind of the beauty of this film, the universal themes that people are relating to, and it is about this family that is broken and the traumas that are passed down through families that sometimes you don't realise, but we all have them,” Elle remarked. “There's a kind of healing power of art. I don't know if something can be completely healed all the way.”
“It doesn't tie everything up into a perfect bow but it maybe will open the door for understanding and forgiveness, and so that's the beauty of it for me,” added “The Maleficent” actress.

On the work front, Elle and her sister Dakota Fanning recently revealed that they will star in their first film together, an adaptation of Kristin Hannah’s best-selling novel “The Nightingale”.
Elle exuded confidence that her close relationship with her sibling would be helpful to their on-screen performance.
“I think we're going to have to be fellow actors on set, but of course we are playing sisters in the film that we're going to be working on together, so we have to bring a little bit of that,” Elle said.
Dakota added: "It's the best to be able to come together now. We're very excited about [The Nightingale]. A little nervous, but excited."
