“Emily in Paris” is coming to an end and fans are heart-broken.

 

Streaming service Netflix officially confirmed that its global hit series will wrap up forever with its upcoming season 6. Production for the final chapter has already kicked off in picturesque Greece.

 

The romantic-comedy's leading star, Lily Collins, broke the bittersweet news to fans through an emotional video shared across the streaming giant's social media platforms.

 

“Season 6 will bring you everything you love about the show and serve as the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime,” Collins said.

 

Created by Darren Star, "Emily in Paris" features Collins as an aspiring marketing executive, Emily Cooper, who moves to Paris to provide an American point of view to a French marketing firm. In Paris, she tries to overcome challenges in her work, love life, and friendships.

The show has been a major performer for Netflix as its earlier seasons collectively spending 32 weeks on the platform's global top 10 English-language TV chart and reaching the number one spot in 90 countries.

 

The cast includes Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Lucas Bravo, Samuel Arnold, Bruno Gouery, William Abadie, Lucien Laviscount, Eugenio Franceschini, Thalia Besson, Paul Forman, Arnaud Binard, Minnie Driver, Bryan Greenberg and Michele Laroque.
