Dream Girl Hema Malini and heart-throb of every girl during the mid-70s Dharmendra celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on Thursday.

 

The couple’s elder daughter Esha Deol took to social media to wish her parents with a heartfelt note along with a rare photo of the two.

Hema also expressed gratitude on social media and shared a video made by a fan featuring couple’s moments.

 

Sending love to her parents, Esha wrote, “Happy anniversary to my papa & mamma. I adore you, I love you and I just want to hug you.”

 

In the photo, Hema is seen leaning her head on her husband Dharmendra’s shoulder. While she looks elegant wearing a floral print kurta in the picture, Dharmendra looks sober in a green shirt.

 

It was 1980 when Dharmendra and Hema tied the knot. They are blessed with two daughters, Esha Deol and Ahana Deol.

 

Hema is Dharmendra’s second wife, and he has two sons, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol, as well as two daughters from his first wife, Prakash Kaur.

 

As far as the professional front is concerned, Hema is busy campaigning for Lok Sabha elections. She has been fielded by the Bharatiya Janata Party from Mathura.

 

Dharmendra, on the other hand, was last seen in the film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya starring Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. He is to make an appearance in Sriram Raghavan’s Ikkis.
