Drawing from his own filmography, he contrasted the production demands of his projects—noting that while “Rockstar” required a lengthy, intensive shoot, “Highway” was completed in a significantly shorter timeframe.
Ali underscored his preference for a free-rolling style of filmmaking, stating that he does not usually adhere to any fixed pattern in his creative process.
He also lauded the efforts of state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang for organising the film festival.
The filmmaker was also felicitated during the event by the Pakyong-based Asian Anime and Manga Academy.
