English singer-songwriter Jessie J has had a rollercoaster of a year amid her cancer diagnosis and surgeries but she is hopeful for 2026.
Taking to Instagram, the 37-year-old singer urged people “not to let their worst days define life”.
She shared a video and pictures of special moments from 2025, including time with friends and family, celebrating milestones, and vulnerable moments from her cancer journey.
“I want to celebrate the highs and the lows. The real in it all,” she wrote. “THANK YOU to everyone that held me up in what has been a year of woof after woof…”
The “Price Tag” artist went on to share that this year “tore her open” through many changes. “I’ve never felt stronger and weaker at the same time like this ever,” she added.
Heading into 2026, Jessie said she is looking forward to “possibilities and joy and good health and love.”

Fans were touched by the singer's message and took to the comments to show their support. “You are so magical and brave,” said one, with another adding, “You’ve smashed it this year and all whilst having your own battles too and raising your boy, what an incredible woman you are.”
The 37-year-old, whose real name is Jessica Cornish, had earlier in December opened up about her early breast cancer diagnosis and the impact it had on the way she lives her life.
The mother-of-one announced in June that she had been diagnosed with the disease, and her first surgery took place weeks later. And she hoped she is making an impact speaking out about the illness and not hiding away.
In August, the singer-songwriter revealed she has to undergo a second surgery before the end of the year and therefore had to postpone her upcoming tour. Her UK and Europe tour dates have been pushed back until April 2026, and the US leg of the tour has been cancelled.
