John Krasinski is officially heading back into the silence. The actor-filmmaker took to Instagram on Sunday to announce that production has finally begun on “A Quiet Place Part III”, the next chapter in his hit sci-fi horror series, which will also feature his wife and actor Emily Blunt.

Writing, producing, and once again leading the cast, Krasinski shared a simple but exciting glimpse from the set: a clapperboard framed by the iconic Manhattan Bridge in New York City’s Chinatown. He kept his message short and high-energy, captioning the post, "Here. We. Go! #Part III."
The film is slated to hit theatres on July 30, 2027.

The first instalment, which released in 2018, featured Krasinski alongside Blunt. It followed the Abbott family as they struggle to survive in a post-apocalyptic world terrorised by alien monsters with hypersensitive hearing.
The second release "A Quiet Place Part II", followed the family as they learn the alien predators can be defeated using high-frequency audio. It released in 2020. Both the films went on to collect numbers at the box office. The first film earned over USD 300 million at the global box office, with the second film earning USD 297 million at the global box office.
The filmmaker announced the third release in 2022. Blunt is set to reprise her role in the film.
