Netflix's upcoming reality series "Desi Bling" headlined by actors Karan Kundrra and Tejasswi Prakash will start streaming from May 20.
The series dives into Dubai’s ultra-exclusive "desi" high society, following Kundrra and Prakash as they navigate a glitzy world of billionaires, bottomless brunches, and Birkin bags. It is a place where status is everything and egos are often bigger than bank accounts.
But behind the sparkle, the show gets real about the struggle to belong. It turns out that fitting into this elite inner circle takes a lot more than just a fancy outfit or a heavy wallet—it is a complicated game where rules are always shifting, and one wrong move can leave you on the outside looking in.
Karan shared that the show was a very different experience for Tejasswi and him. It took them outside their comfort zones and into a world unlike anything they have ever dealt with before.

“'Desi Bling' gave Tejasswi and me a chance to step into a world that’s completely different from anything we’ve done before. Yes, there’s glamour and luxury, but what really surprised us were the relationships, personalities, and dynamics within this circle. It’s exciting, unpredictable, and very real in many ways. We’re excited for audiences across the world to experience this journey with us on Netflix," he said in a statement.
Prakash said, “This show has been such a special journey for me. It’s a beautiful window into the glistening world of Dubai, but at the same time, it has all the elements of classic desi masala. Also it's very different from anything I’ve done in the past because rarely do you see such a blend of reality with fiction.”
