At a recent Bvlgari India event, Kareena Kapoor Kapoor divulged her olfactory associations with some of her nearest and dearest.
In an interview with Cosmopolitan India, the actress playfully likened various celebrities to specific perfumes.
Alia Bhatt, Kapoor's sister-in-law, evoked the image of a rose for Kapoor. "She looks like a rose," Kapoor remarked, highlighting Bhatt's delicate beauty.
For her husband Saif Ali Khan, Kapoor gravitated towards a more intense aroma. "I'd say something like oudh for Saif," she revealed, hinting at a preference for a musky, masculine fragrance.
Karan Johar, the filmmaker and close friend, was likened to the serene scent of lilies.
"He would smell like my favourite flower, which is lilies," Kapoor said, highlighting her fondness for Johar's gentle and nurturing personality.
Finally, Kapoor described her sister Karisma Kapoor as a burst of sunshine.
"Karisma is always my sunshine girl," she beamed, "so I would say something like orange sunflower."
In a separate interview with Vogue India, Kapoor discussed her ideal fragrance for Saif Ali Khan.
"For Saif, it would be something intense, with a more moody feel," she explained, hinting at a preference for a complex and intriguing scent.
Meanwhile, Kapoor's career continues to flourish. Following the success of "Crew," a film about three ambitious women in the aviation industry, Kapoor is gearing up for a slate of exciting projects.
She is currently filming "The Buckingham Murders" directed by Hansal Mehta and will soon begin work on Rohit Shetty's action-packed "Singham Again."
"Singham Again" marks the third instalment in the popular franchise and boasts a star-studded cast, including Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, and Akshay Kumar. The film is slated for an August 2024 theatrical release.
