Rapper Nicki Minaj made a surprise appearance at Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest in Phoenix, Arizona, where she heaped praises on US President Donald Trump by calling him "handsome" and "dashing".
Minaj, 43, walked out hand in hand with Erika Kirk, 37, new CEO of Turning Point USA, at the event.
This was Erika’s first appearance at the conference since the assassination of her husband, Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10.
During an interaction, Erika asked the rapper what she had learned from Trump’s administration.
Gushing over Trump, Minaj said he had given many people hope. “I have the utmost respect and admiration for our President. I don’t know if he even knows this, but he’s given so many people hope."

When asked why she chose to support Trump, Minaj said she was tired of being “pushed around” and no longer cared about public disapproval.
“I just got tired of being pushed around. I have something inside of me that’s stronger than what’s out there. So when you’ve had enough, you realise, 'Wait a minute, why do I even care about these people and what they think? Who are they?' They don’t even know who they are. So I’m not going to back down anymore. I’m not going to back down ever again," she continued.
Later, Minaj called Trump “handsome” and “dashing,” while honouring him and Vice-President JD Vance as “role models” in her eyes.
