Actor Preity Zinta, who proudly hails from Himachal Pradesh, emphasised the significance of giving back to nature and shared that she planted a Cedar tree nearly three years ago, which has matured.

Preity updated her followers on Instagram by sharing a before and after photo of her tree. In the initial two pictures, the actress is shown tending to the tree she had planted. The final image showcases the coniferous trees, which can reach heights of 30–40 meters, completely blanketed in snow.

For the caption, she wrote: “I planted this Himalayan Cedar tree almost 3 years ago. So happy to see it grow and thrive with all the snow around as Himachal Pradesh braces for a cold & white winter. Moments like these give true meaning to life & the importance of giving back to Mother Nature. #Plantatree #Nature #HimalyanCeder #proudhimachali #ting.”

Her list of films includes “Chori Chori Chupke Chupke,” “Dil Chahta Hai,” “Dil Hai Tumhaara,” “Kal Ho Naa Ho,” “Koi… Mil Gaya,” “Veer-Zara,” “Salaam Namaste,” and “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna.” In 2008, Preity took on her first international role in “Heaven On Earth.”

The actress is prepared to make her comeback in Rajkumar Santoshi’s “Lahore 1947,” which is being produced by Aamir Khan Productions. The film also features Sunny Deol.
