Priyanka pays tribute to late father Ashok Chopra

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has paid a poignant tribute to her late father Dr Ashok Chopra on his death anniversary by sharing a heartfelt collection of memories on Instagram.

 

Some rare and personal pictures of the actress with her father were also uploaded by the actress, including some of their precious childhood memories. Along with the pictures, there was an incredibly sentimental caption written by Priyanka where she described how they would always dance together and how her father will always remain a part of all her decisions and moments.

 

Her heartfelt caption received many comments from her fans and Bollywood celebrities like Bipasha Basu, Varun Dhawan, Rajkummar Rao, Ayushmann Khurrana, Neil Nitin Mukesh, and Dia Mirza.

 

The renowned Dr Ashok Chopra, who was part of the Indian Army as a physician, died in the year 2013 after a prolonged struggle against cancer. It is quite evident from her numerous interviews that Priyanka often considers her late father as the strongest support system she has ever known in her personal and professional life.

 

Professionally speaking, the famous actress was last seen in 'The Bluff' and has been preparing for her next movie 'Varanasi', which is slated for release in the year 2027. Meanwhile, the second season of her spy-thriller series Citadel has recently returned to television screens, having commenced streaming on May 6.
