Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone visited Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak Temple to seek blessings as they prepare to welcome their second child together.
The couple arrived hand-in-hand in coordinated traditional outfits, with Deepika wearing an intricately embellished ensemble in earthy tones and Ranveer dressed in a rich purple kurta paired with white trousers. Deepika was seen taking care to keep her baby bump guarded, while Ranveer held her hand protectively and later guided her towards their car.
The temple visit carried personal significance for the couple, who had also sought blessings there when Deepika was expecting their first child. They welcomed their daughter, Dua, in September 2024.
Ranveer and Deepika generally keep their family life private, although they have occasionally shared glimpses of their journey as parents. Days before the temple visit, they posted a series of intimate black-and-white photographs ahead of the arrival of their baby. The images were shared on the occasion of Dua’s second birthday and offered a rare look at the family, as the couple has largely kept their daughter away from public attention.
Earlier on Thursday, Ranveer also visited the Lalbaugcha Raja pandal during the ongoing Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations. Wearing a traditional white kurta-pyjama and accompanied by heavy security, he arrived to seek the blessings of Lord Ganesha.
Upcoming projects
Deepika will next appear in Siddharth Anand’s King, which stars Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. She is also part of Atlee’s science-fiction action film Raaka, headlined by Allu Arjun.
Ranveer, meanwhile, has been occupied with the shooting of Pralay.
